The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.

Thomas Jefferson, June 1824

Why should YOU get firearms training?

This question can be answered with three logical reasons; safety, education and fundamentals

First, firearms safety is paramount! That’s why it’s numero uno. I can educate you all day long about guns. However, if you consistently break one or more of the Universal Safety Rules, then educating you about the fundamentals of shooting or how to defend yourself is pointless.

The second reason now deals with education. We’ll learn about situational awareness, conflict avoidance, the legal use of force, types of handguns, ballistics and a whole lot more.

All in all, it’s definitely important to be armed. But it’s just as important to be armed with knowledge and logic — knowledge and logic of how to be safe and responsible with firearms, how to safely manipulate and shoot that firearm, how to defend yourself and how to keep that right intact.

Lastly, fundamentals— you’ll learn the basics of firearms functionality, proper grip, stance, trigger control, sight alignment and clearing procedures.
